A beautiful line: Hilton Head's maritime railway

Next to Benny Hudson Seafood there's a railway.
These are rails, kind of like with railroad trains, but instead of locomotives, there are boats. Boats that don't go anywhere except up out of the water.
So there is one boat up at the top of the line. It looks as if it's been up there a very long time. In fact it looks kind of like one I saw on a calendar -- and that was a calendar I bought last year. These kinds of things take time, I guess.
Painting a boat is a more monumental undertaking than painting your living room. You don't just pick something out at Sherwin-Williams and then run home to slap a coat of paint on in time for dinner. Especially if your life depends on the seaworthiness of the vessel. There are pros and cons to this paint. Pros: It keeps the water and worms out of your wood. Cons: It costs a fortune for the industrial grade stuff, and color choices are limited.
